Tannenbaum Campsite offers an all year round, back to basics camping experience in Alderwasley, a beautiful village in central Derbyshire. A panoramic, far reaching view awaits guests and this can be appreciated from all of our pitches. We welcome couples and families to our site to enjoy a camping trip with your own tent/caravan or a Glamping experience in one of our beautiful rental units which include a Shepherds Hut (The Herdwick) and a converted Horse Lorry (Annie).

• We have a fully licensed bar on site serving a full range of alcoholic drinks including the whole range of Shining Cliff Distillery Gin.

• Facilities on site offer flushing toilets, hot showers, hot water washing up area, drinking water and chemical toilet disposal.

*We allow BBQ's and we also loan Fire Pits (wood and kindling is provided at a small cost and burning of your own wood is not allowed).

*Well behaved dogs are made very welcome too

On our doorstep are Shining Cliff Woods which is a site of special scientific interest (SSSI), the woods offer lovely walks with lots to see. For cyclists, the High Peak Trail is approx 3 miles away or for MTB users the woods offer routes suitable for all abilities.

We have lovely countryside surrounding the site and dog friendly, country pubs within walking distance, we are often able to offer a 10% discount to our guests when dining in

We have many local Market towns offering fantastic restaurants, tea rooms, gift shops and cinemas. A range of supermarkets are available locally and petrol stations are close by too.

Tourist attractions are on offer in every direction and there is something to occupy the whole family.
